What changes the price
The figure above is one real sale. Your building can sell for more or less depending on:
- Condition. Chips, cracks, faded paint or a damaged roof pull a building well below the figure above.
- Completeness. This is a 2-piece set. Missing pieces sharply reduce what buyers will pay.
- Original box and sleeve. Buildings with their original packaging consistently sell for more.
- Light cord and bulb. A working original light kit is expected by most buyers.
- Timing. Demand for Department 56 peaks from late September through December.
